Order Maker

The Order maker utility is an add-on utility to the MPR500 Pro Production floor management system, and can be provided by the lab to its customers for the preparation of print orders electronically. The setup program for the customers is created by the lab, with building blocks that allow the customers to prepare the order. The building blocks include:

• List of print types: pictures, packages (multiple instances of the same image on a page), special pictures (Calendars, Greeting cards, ID cards, and more)
• Frames
• Effects (like Black & White, Sepia or any other Duo tone and much more).

Per print type, the customer can specify the required print size, quantity and paper surface. The tool allows the customer to perform interactive cropping, rotation and trimming, and preview the entire order (WYSIWYG) prior to making the order. The order itself can include additional items including the request from the lab to perform additional professional color corrections to the images included in the order, and a CD with the color corrected images.

The lab also sets in the setup program shipping methods and their pricing, FTP information (for automatic download of price and content updates as published by the lab).
